Dogs up to 20-25lbs-Not recommended for pooches with medical issues that might cause frequent urination.
1-Dog-1-Use Economy Lightweight Grade-Our lightest weight thinnest and cheapest 23x36" pads we carry.
Here are some very important factors to consider when selecting puppy training pads. First, let logic dictate needs. Of course like us (humans) dogs come in all sizes like almost anything else. We carry a complete selection of disposable puppy/underpads, 6 grades in all. From these lightweight 3-layer economy grade up to extra large, super absorbent, polymer gel (S.A.P.) pads that are reusable for up to 12 hours and for the most extreme cases and larger needs. We carry them in in all popular sizes. Let me also tell you that puppy pads and hospital underpads are virtually the same. The packaging is the difference. Feel free to contact us for all of your puppy pad needs. We also offer FREE SAMPLES (by request only) contact us for yours. We hold your order from shipping based upon your approval. If you prefer one of the other pads we sample, we simply cancel the existing order and get you to the listing with the preferable pads or the existing order. If you want to cancel the order we can do that as well! We call it our "No Harm, No Foul" buying option. No other puppy pad vendor offers this policy.
·Size-Larger dogs tend to have larger bladders and can hold urine for longer than smaller dogs their output is predicated upon dog's size, weight and condition.
·Age-As dogs age, their bladder control may decline, and they may need to urinate more frequently.
·Breed-A dog's breed shouldn't affect how much they urinate, unless the breed is prone to kidney issues
·Training-well-trained dogs may have better bladder control and be able to hold their urine for longer periods.
·Bladder volume-A normal dog's bladder volume is about 3.5 mL/kg, and the maximum volume is about 20 mL/kg. Use good judgement. Obviously, a toy or mini will typically use smaller pads compared to medium and larger pups!
·Urinationfrequency-A healthy adult dog usually needs to urinate three to five times a day.
·Bladder infections Yes, doggies can get them like humans. Signs of a bladder infection include pain, difficulty urinating, blood in the urine, straining to urinate, and urinating small amounts frequently.
